My 2016 aka Thank God it's over

Glad that it's over not because 2016 was a bad year, for me, but it was a year of transition, that went over really fast and, at the same time, very slow.
It was fast, because I spent the first 6 months of the year studying, reading, revising the same thing over and over again for my last university exam, and the following 6 first researching, than writing my final thesis. A lot of days were somehow the same, and I literally arrived at the end of a month feeling like... what. When did September happen. It's a thing everyone says, that time flies etc, but this year... seriously.
And at the same time it was so damn slow! I just wanted to pass my last exam and graduate, things that happened respectively in June and December. December. I just wanted it to be over.
And now it is over, I'm glad, university years are the best for a lot of people, but I really did not enjoy them. Yes, friends made it better, but at some time I literally got sick because of the stress and the anxiety. Not cute, not fun.
And even tho I'm happy I've graduated, the mere idea of looking for a job, having to study more, living alone, probably moving to another city/region/state (deal lord please no) terrifies me. I guess it's normal, but I don't want to think and/or talk about it.

So let's talk about stupid stuff!
Honestly I haven't discovered anything new, this year, I just stuck to the stuff I like.
Arashi are still the best group. Ever. Period. Anybody else can go home. Somebody may find them boring, too public friendly, nothing special, but maybe it's because they've been around for so long that you can really see them growing up, changing from boys to men, maybe it's because I've been liking them since the end of high school -so they stayed with me for the whole university thing... I have no idea, honestly! But even in these days, whenever I read/saw something related to their support to Aiba for the Kouhaku, I just thought "yup, I love them so much".
Also, this year too, Aiba is my favourite person. I still feel really emotional about the Kouhaku (and in general about all the things he has done this year... He worked a lot!) so let's just stop here. *proud tears*
Eito are still my weird, talented old asses kids. Those kids you want the world to see because they're too good, but at the same time you want to keep them into a room, because they're too... themselves (sometimes a little too extra bc they have to live up to their image) for the world to understand. It's a bit of a pity they haven't released a new album (but I rambled about it on tumblr already and I actually think it was a good idea?) but the Noroshi single was such a gift, it's ok.
I'm not into Kpop as I was the previous years. I listen to a lot of music, know and like many groups, but if I have to say the one I'm more into, it's VIXX. They're precious. Also really tall and attractive.
EXO are just not what they used to be. Maybe because 3 members (4, we can say~) left the group, maybe because some of them are quite full of themselves, but I don't like them as I used to. I care a lot about Kyungsoo, he's my penguin. There are some other members I think are precious, but that's it. Being an EXO fan douring the Wolf/Growl era was An Experience that everyone should live once, in my opinion. It was damn intense, and quite fun, honestly. But... not for long :D
Monster, despite the questionable lyrics, was still a jam.

You know anoher thing that didn't change? Haikyuu. This year too, is one of the best things that ever happened to me. Both the manga and the anime. I love it so much.

Dramas
If I look back at the dramas I've watched this past year, I don't see that many titles that I really, really liked.
As always, I haven't watched many Korean dramas, but there are 2 I enjoyed a lot: Signal is a great drama and if you like detective dramas with a lot of suspances, great criminal cases and a bit of time travelling mess (???) you should try it. There are talks about a 2nd season, which is good, since the ending was quite open.
Scarlet Heart was... messy from so many points of view, but I was inexplicably obsessed, especially for the first half. I'll talk more about it on a future post about the last dramas I've watched, but it was definitely one of the highlights of this year.
Jdramas are always more satisfying. 99.9 was so much fun, really. Not a masterpiece by any means, but I laughed a lot. Kazoku no Katachi was fun too, but also heartwarming, I loved all the characters but especially the main ones.
If you're in the mood for some light romance, definitely check out Watashi Kekkon Dekinai Janakute Shinain Desu, Sukina Hito ga Iru Koto, Jimi ni Sugoi and Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu. Best dramas ever? No. Enjoyable romcoms? Yes.
One of the best of the year was definitely Juhan Shuttai!, that I watched this december in a few days. It was super good, I understand why it was so successful when it aired.

Music
Fave songs of 2016 here.

            Moana

I'm slowly watching all those "iconic" movies that everyone but me watched, like "Notting Hill" etc.
Luckily, I've liked most of the movies I've watched :D But I expected more from Moana, honestly. It was nice but not THAT much.

Books
What I've read. There are so many "popular" books that were such a disappointment! Like The Girl on The Train, ugh why is everyone obsessed with this book? You know the culprit before the half mark! The movie is even worse. I mean, it's not bad, but... the most sensational book of the last years? Please. It's a Gone Girl wannabe. Meh.
I've read the Divergent saga, which was slightly boring, but if I were 15 I'd have probably enojoyed it more. I've also read the last book of The Lynburn Legacy, which I didn't enjoyed a lot. But I like the wit of the author, it's what differentiates this saga from 99% of other young adults stuff.
Why do I read so much young adults books? Because I don't have to think much when I read them, and if you spend your time reading law books... sometimes you just need to switch off the brain XD
Let's pretend HP and The Cursed Child never happened, ok?
You know what REALLY awesome? 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I loved it.

in a different way, my last couple 2016 months were really intense and just needed to end. and i'm glad it did. I really needed the fresh start. I finally graduated too, and am waiting on my diploma. I'm just applying to eikaiwa companies that will get me a visa in time so i can go to japan end of march. and i'm still gonna do my resolutions/reflections that i've been meaning to do for awhile. but it's gonna have to wait til tmrw or at least later tonight cause i still have a lot to do right now.

i haven't watched juhan shuttai but maybe i'll give it a go if i have time.

Happy new year!!! Hopefully finding a job will go smoothly and won't be as much of a pain in the ass as you expected
I'm reading you basically found a job, so congratulations!
I hope everything will go smoothly for you as well :D
Thank you! A lot happened, currently leaving me with a job offer (just need to send them documents) and a second and last interview with the company I want to go to for next week. Hopefully I get hired with this company too.
Quindi ce l'hai fatta? Sei arrivata alla fine dell'uni???
Complimenti tesoroooo!!!

Buon 2017!!!
